  1. Hey Team! I went to a shot tracking hitting bay the other day with my 6iron. I was wondering if the team would take a look at the numbers I put up and give me any advice on what I should be trying to change. To be honest I don't really know much about most of the columns that aren't super obvious so any help in deciphering these numbers and then trying to make them better would be much appreciated. I know most of you hit it longer and better than I do but I'm a newbie trying to learn. Be gentle (just kidding.) I appreciate all posts and I can't wait to hear what you have say and the advice that you send my way! Thanks to all.

Believe it or not - most of the useful data isn't really included. All of those NA columns on the right? Those would give us the most useful information.

Looks like you have a bit of a problem with left misses.
  3. Yeah I've been working to fix the slice that I have normally by putting a draw on it but sometimes as you can see I will over do it. Recently I went and worked with my 5 iron. I'm trying to keep my misses to the left as you can see and then work my way in. It's working slowly but it's nice to see the ball go left when I'm thinking "go left" instead of seeing it go right.

  4. Thanks for the reply ETAKMIT. I go to a place that gives me the info on the right columns a few times per month and will post the results of the lesson when I get them this time. I really appreciate you taking a look at the data. It's always nice to have an extra set of eyes and advice. Thanks again. And I look forward to positing the more detailed info in a couple of weeks.

You can get some good data on shot shaping and launch angle. You may be surprised when you get on course. The device is assuming a smash factor of 1.45 so your off center strikes won't be as successful when your ball speed is the same or slower than the head speed. A Trackman outside will have better feedback for angle of descent and true flight distance.
  6. Thanks Dan, I was wondering why it was set to 1.45 but that would explain a lot in terms of selling clubs since I'm hitting a local store. If it makes off center hits more accurate than real life then a customer is more likely to purchase a club. I'll certainly keep that in mind and bring my impact tape with me to be certain that I'm striking true (or closer). Thanks for the insite and info. I really appreciate it! When I take my lesson I'll post the readings from the system there. They give me the stats that are not available here. And I have a feeling they are more accurate.
