Happy New Year everyone. What are your goal or goals for 2024? For me, I want to break 80, and to play more

This year I am going to really work on improving my bunker play. I am typically one who hits down into my ball, so the "sweeping" motion of sliding the club under the ball is very foreign to me. I know it is supposed to be a simple fix but thus far it has eluded me. This is the year !

The big goal is to knock 2 shots off my index this year. There are a number of little goals that support achieving this goal but the one that will make the most impact is the goal of hitting more fairways. I've spent a lot of time on the launch monitor this winter trying to breakdown what's making me so inconsistent and it comes down to clubface control. So...gotta get to work on it!

Hope everyone has a great 2024! Cheers!

The goal is to always play more and like many I'd like to break 80 again as well

My goal for 2024 is work on effective course management and making good and sensible judgements on the course.

Mine is to become and maintain a single digit handicap. I went from an 18 to 10 last season so hopefully it's not too difficult.

Break 80 more often and practice more with purpose.

I had a full left hip replacement (In March) and my index went from 13.7 down to 10.7 and at the end of the year broke 80 twice. I did it 4 x times in 22. I was really "lost" in the mid season. I have been working diligently at Modern golf on a trackman with lessons to deliver a better club path and effective strike. I want to learn how to hit draws. I am a fade swinger I feel I was "wasting" a lot of energy in my transision and I am working very hard at this to get proper sequencing. It is tough swinging "one way" for 35 years now

    Good luck with your golf
