I’ve been playing golf for years and always been pretty decent player but had yet to have a hole in one after being so close on many different occasions. I live in Iowa so I was happy to be playing golfing in April because the weather has been really decent. So get to hole 12 at south hills golf course 146 yard par 3 with a wild side wind. The wind that day was gust of 20-30mph but after hitting a well struck shot it hit one time rolled for maybe 5ft and disappeared. I told the guys I was with it might of went in but I think it went over they all 3 said it’s in the hole I swear it is. So we got up to the green I was still in shock that I didn’t see the ball go up to the hole and there it was bottom of the cup! What a great feeling to finally join the “Hole in One Club” a club any life long golfer should be in. Hope to have a couple more over the years but nothing beats the first one.
