I agree, the SM9 is more aesthetically appealing compared to the SM10. This made my decision a lot easier now. I got fit for mew wedges in the fall and was waiting to see the SM10 before I bought anything, but now I think I'll go ahead and get the SM9s, and they're down to $149 which helps.

Hmmm. As another sinister golfer, I appreciate the full range of lofts and grinds in the standard product lines. Like Cameron, special releases are rarely offered for those of us that hit from the right side of the ball. So looks are not a factor in my selection.
I (finally) realized I had the wrong grind for my 58 degree wedge for my local area. I could have waited for the SM-10 with my on course season shut down until April. But my lack of short game practice time is a far greater issue than any tech benefit from the new model. So I took advantage of the reduced price on the SM-9 (with a custom shaft build) to add to my wedge stockpile.

A very minor design difference in the placement of the Vokey Design logo. No big deal. Not something that would affect the way I would hit my wedge or something I would notice when setting up. I think the improvement factor would be what would interest me in moving forward and I can see SM10s in my bag this year. Waiting to hear more information before I make such a subjective decision as some have. Do you buy a new performance automobile because they have increase it's performance or not purchase it because you do not like where they moved the logo
or the new logo design. A wedge is a scoring club and you need one that "performs" well. Although you can save a few bucks buying last year's model. Hakuna matata. Welcome to Team Titleist, guys. =)

I think were on the same page here and maybe I did not emphasize on the price having the most appeal at the end of the day. Titleist being the no frills company that it is unlike some others… Id highly consider buying last years performance automobile at a couple grand less than the upcoming model if the performance difference would merely be seen on the dyno vs actually feeling a difference behind the wheel such as I would not be surprised to see the SM10s performance difference from the SM9 only be notable in the data on a simulator, at least for a casual like myself that is.

I love the new RAW option for SM10!

Personally i love the look of the SM10 and will be getting the first fitting available at my local pro shop. but it is personal preference, if you like sm9 go for that but as we know with titleist in the past their products do improve each time.

Looking for new wedges coming this new golf season, will be on the look out for the SM10.

A lot of people have said the sm9 was softer feeling than the sm8, I don’t remember a difference and they performed the same for me. Anyone hearing about softer or a wider sweet spot like Spieth kind of said when talked about his new 46 and gap wedge?

I swap wedges twice a year, mainly the 54/58, as I practice a lot. I also have 2 sets of new 9's I got at about 30% off due to the new release coming shortly. Nothing wrong with being a cycle behind, there isn't THAT much change in performance every other year.

Aesthetically, I prefer the SM9.

I was due for new wedges for the upcoming season, so the other day I placed an order for a new 54°F and 58°K in the jet black finish. The previous version discounted price is an added bonus…if it could be called that. Clubs are just expensive anymore.

Really hope the SM10 is a touch softer.

Aesthetically, the SM9 looks better to me. Right now unless the 10's are drastically better I see no reason to spend money on 4 wedges when my 9's are phenomenal.

I finally updated my 52* SM7 to the SM9, mainly because I was fitted for the SM9's and have the 56* and 60* and wanted to complete the set. The reduction in price also helped. I've gotten great play from the SM9's and don't see a need to upgrade just yet.

I think SM10 looks fine. I personally don't care for looks just like to get fresh groves

How many of you are getting fit for wedges? Changing lie angles and potentially same shafts as your irons?
I’m 2 degrees flat in irons with KBS Tour 130 X, but have always just swung wedges stock off the shelf, I’m sure this has to be hurting myself somewhere.

I did full bag fitting two weeks ago. My irons and wedges have the same Project X 6.0 shaft and the same lie 2° flat

I had been playing wedges off the rack for years, then I did a fitting for the SM9's and found out I was playing the wrong bounce and grind on everything. Getting fit and getting the right wedges in my bag helped my short game a ton.

I waited for the release of the SM10 and just ended up going with the SM9 to replace my wedges. I saved about $350 and that included custom ferrules and shafts to match my replacement.

Aesthetically the SM9 and 10 look pretty similar to me personally.I'm thinking of changing an old SM7 60 to a new 58 M grind. I do like the lower price point of the SM9.

I personally like SM9 clean and classic look. Ordered 3 sticks of older model at $450 to save some$. At my skill level, I may not notice that much of difference between the two.

To me the SM10s look more like a Cleveland wedge than a Vokey. I'm sure they perform great, but it's just the vibe I get from the pictures I've seen.

Just bought my first Vokeys. Got a 54 and a 58 SM9. Looking forward to get out there and play em.

I need to order some new wedges and am now sure which way to go. I love my SM9's and I am sure the SM10's will also be good. Problem is I can save $$$ if I get the 9's now. Still thinking....
