Rain-Maker

It was a super hot day in Wilmington on August 8th, 2019. I started the round well with birdie, birdie, par, and then hole-in-one. Four-under after four holes—what a dream. I have only been playing golf seriously for about 4 years so this is a huge accomplishment. I stepped up on the tee box of hole number 4 which is a 155-yard par 3. I grabbed by Titleist 7-iron and lined up my shot and swung. The ball was pin seeking and hit right below the hole with one bounce it dropped in the hole. The crazy thing is that as soon as the ball went into the hole the bottom dropped out of the sky. I had started to drizzle but as soon as the ball hit the bottom of the cup the rain just came down for a quick summer shower. I was playing the round with a great group of guys that got to see my 1st hole-in-one.
