Playing a 5-some, I was the first to tee it up on hole #3 at Dogwood Golf Club in Austell, GA. 172 yard par 3, slightly downhill with dead calm wind conditions. I hit my Titleist AP1 6-iron and caught it a little on the toe causing a slight draw (I normally hit a cut). Fortunately, I had just enough to carry the creek that runs right in front of the green and land it on the fringe with a big bounce forward into the cup. It wasn’t the best looking hole in one, but there are no pictures on a scorecard!
