Career No. 2

It was a beautiful day and a great round of golf with my son, Bryan. At 131 yards, I contemplated a full swing with my 8 Iron or an easy swing with my 7. I chose the easy swing with my 7 Iron. I teed up my Titleist Pro V, the same brand used for my first hole in one and thought, "Just a nice easy swing". The ball flew at the flag and landed about 3 feet short of the pin and to the left. The ball bounced right and rolled out of sight. Did it go in the hole or did it roll off the back fringe? As we drove up to the green, there was no ball in sight on the green. Either it was in the hole or it went off the back edge. My son took the obligatory walk past the hole, as he has done many a times he said, expecting to see the hole empty. This time he looked, stopped in his stride, looked again and said, "Oh my gosh, the ball's in the hole!" It was so exciting to share my second Hole In One with my son!
