A Memorial Day Memory

The date was Sunday the 26th of May in Highlands, North Carolina. I was playing golf at the Old Edwards Course with my father, brother, and brother-in-law. We were playing this round of golf just the day before Memorial Day to celebrate America and our brave men and women who have served and are serving our country. And what better way to celebrate Memorial Day than to play a round of golf in the best country on earth. Old Edwards is a beautiful mountain course at 4,500 ft. of elevation in Highlands, North Carolina. My round was going well so far, and then I stepped up to the 4th tee box which was a 171 yard par 3. I grabbed my 8 iron and my Titleist Pro V1 and set up for the shot. With a powerful swing and a baby draw, the ball flew perfectly to the hole. And then with a short bounce and roll, the golf ball round around the cup almost 360 degrees and fell to the bottom. We all lost it! We screamed so loud that the members at the clubhouse could hear us. At the end of the day, no matter the overall score, I made an incredible memory with my family on Memorial Day weekend of 2019. Thank you to the incredible Titleist Team for their incredible products! I share this memory with you too!
