Call Me Ace

I decided to call in sick to work to go golfing with my father in law and his brother (because why wouldn’t you choose golf over work). It was a perfect day for golf, a little breeze, sun, a few beers and great company. We can up the the 16th tee box and I saw that it was a slightly elevated 125 yard par 3, but I had to carry a river and there was a false front that would feed the ball into the water. I probably could hit my 55 degree SM5, but I knew that it would soon right off. I decided to hit my 50 degree SM5 and use a smooth 3/4 swing. For some reason when I put my ball down, I noticed that I put the Pro V1 logo face parallel to my target and when I hit the ball it just felt right. I saw the ball land about what looked like 10 behind the hole and saw it spin back a bit. I went down to pick up my tee and both my father in law and his brother screamed. I assumed I put the ball in the river, but there was a couple by the green jumping up and down. I freaked out!! My first hole in one ever! We walked to the green and there was my ball, in the hole and my pitch mark was about 10 feet behind the hole. We went to the clubhouse to celebrate, and boy did my father in law and his brother. Scotch and beer to celebrate the first hole in one out of all of us! From that time on I placed my ball exactly the same way on ever par three hoping for another.
