It began as an average Saturday morning on the Oyster Bay Golf Course. The date, 9/21/2019. It was the 6th hole and playing about 150 from the Blue/White tees. The first in my fouresome to tee off, I took my tee shot using my 8 iron. The ball took flight and gracefully landed on the green about 12-15 feet beyond and slightly left of the pin on a hill. Since the ground was firm, it began rolling back toward the hole for about 10 seconds and then seemed to have disappeared into the small shadow surrounding the hole. It was pretty surreal to watch! The rest is history!
