I got my first hole-in-one on the second day of my high school golf tryouts. The wind was blowing strong that day, so I decided to play a knockdown shot. I produced the exact trajectory and ball flight that I had imagined in my pre-shot routine. Confidently, I stared the ball down until it hit the green because at that moment I knew it would be pretty close. I turned away but looked back swiftly after hearing my teammates start to make some noise. From the corner of my eye, I saw my ball land two feet past the pin and then spin back into the hole. Soon after, my group started giving me high-fives. With the hole-in-one, I had the chance to break the two-day high school scoring record of 5-under par. Unfortunately, I fell just short of doing so. I celebrated the hole-in-one with a few members on my golf team soon after the round. Overall, it was a moment I can never forget.
