An Ace and a Deuce

The Opening day tournament at Northriver Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa, AL on March 23, 2019 was a memorable one. The tournament format was a Shamble with teams made up of four players. On the 6th hole, which played 155 yards that day, I carded my first ever hole in one. I hit a pitching wedge to the green which is slightly downhill from the tee. My Titelist Pro V1 took a slight hop forward and caught the down slope and trickled its way towards the flag. It was like watching a long putt roll out. The ball had found the fall line and just when it seemed the ball was going to stop short of the hole.....the ball disappeared. First Ace ever! My partners and I could not believe it. I can honestly say I have never experienced anything like that feeling before. It was surreal. What an awesome way to start the tournament season. But wait there's more...Later in the same round on the 16th hole which is a tricky Par 4 the Golf Gods intervened again and I holed out for Eagle...again using a Titleist Pro V1. This time I punched a wedge from 120 yards and with one bounce and a rattle of the stick I had holed out again. We won the tournament and made some great memories. So far 2019 is off to a great start! Thank you to Titleist for allowing me to share my story. Bryan Coleman Tuscaloosa, AL
