Leave It To Beaver(creek)
By Jacob T On 23 July 2019
It was a hot and humid typical summer day in Beavercreek, Ohio. The date was July 21st, 2019 at roughly 4:30 pm. I was in a foursome playing well up to this point. I have played this hole hundreds of times in my life, never even thinking about having a hole in one. I have played golf since I was 15 years old and finally at the age of 19, conquered the feat of a hole-in-one. #13 at Beavercreek Golf Club is a short down hill par 3 that plays anywhere from 140-160 yards from the men's tees. Due to my frequent play at this course, I knew that 9 iron was the correct club for a front pin location. I teed up the my Titleist ProV1x and hit a beautiful draw directly at the pin. My entire group was silent as the shot traveled through the air and hit the front part of the fringe. The ball bounced once onto the green and immediately rolled directly at the pin. At this moment, there was only two things that could happen; it would disappear into the bottom of the cup, or I would be extremely devastated from a lip-out. The Golf Gods were with me that day and decided I had done my fair share of frustrations throughout my golf career and let it drop in. I immediately exclaimed "Oh my God" and threw my arms in the air. My playing partners cheered me wildly and began giving me high-fives and hugs.
