Friend is a member of the country club. This was my first time playing it. Hole #5 is a Par 3. The tee box and greens were pretty rock solid based on the recent weather (mid-30s). During the first four holes, we were quick to realize that we needed to "club down." My normal shot from 141 yards would be a 9 iron. I chose the PW to compensate for the incredible bounce I was going to get on the hard green. Placed ball straight on the deck (no tee) on the tee box. Ball flew magnificently straight towards the green. It hit the front, took one bounce, and went directly into the cup. My playing partner and I stared at the green for about 15 seconds before we processed what we just saw. I ran, full speed, to the green. There, in the cup...looking up at me, was my Titleist ProV1 #6, almost smiling, back at me. Celebration commenced.
