We were in Santee, South Carolina playing Santee National Golf Course. It was our annual golf trip for 12-of us. It was Monday, September 30th and we were playing an afternoon 4-man scramble. I was the last to hit on number seven. A daunting uphill, over a pond, 186-yard par 3 (also the number one handicap hole). The hole is 25-30 feet above the tee box. I was the last to hit. I took out my 4-hybrid and the ball (ProV1x) flew right at the stick. And then it happened, it took one bounce and the ball disappeared. It finally happened. My first hole-in-one. Bucket list baby, bucket list!!!
