I just finished a long week writing The Essential Guide to Prescription Drugs, Update on Fish oil and decided to take half a day off to get in a round of golf at Baytree Golf Course in Viera Florida. I was not having a good round, and at the turn, decided to buy a 12 pack of Pro V1s. My partner tired to talk me into some sale golf balls, but I said I want to change my luck and will get these. On the 17th, par 3, I crushed a 6 iron straight at the flag. It was a blind shot, so we couldn't see the pin. When we got to the hole, we were surprised only to see my partner's ball above the hole. I guessed that the ball had flown the green and went back to the cart to get another ball. As I walked up, my partner said, "You're not going to need that ball." I thought he was joking and walked toward his ball. He said, "Look in the hole." I was in shock and dropped my putter when I looked in the cup and saw my brand new proV1. WOW, my first hole in one. I was so excited, we forgot to take a picture.
