I have been playing for 50+ years and have came close so many times. It finally got to the point I remarked to many people, quite often, to engrave on my headstone, “died trying to get a hole in one-no duck luck.” Well, it finally happen during an extremely windy day. It was on the189 yard hole 14, Paiute Sun Course. Normally I would play a 4-5 iron but the wind was at our backs so I hit 8 iron and the Pro V1x had eyes, checked, and disappeared. Best of all I got to experience it with my brother and have decided to change the engraving on the headstone.
