It took me decades of playing golf to finally achieve my 1st ACE on Sunday, Feb. 24th 2019. It was at Pecan Hollow in Richardson, TX - Hole #8 (par 3, playing 172). Using my Orange Titleist Velocity #2 Ball (given to me as a gift by my daughters for Christmas). I hit it pretty clean - but since the pin was positioned behind the bunker - I didn't see it actually go in the hole. When I walked up and didn't see the ball on the green or in the bunker - I immediately thought that I hit it through and off the green. Then one of the guys in the foursome - walked over and said - "its in the cup". Unbelievable!!! Hopefully it won't take me another 45 years to achieve my 2nd ACE.
