Finally! After playing golf for over 50 years I finally made a hole in one. Playing Woodland Golf Club (a local public course) on a beautiful Saturday morning with my normal golfing companion, Gary, I came to the 14th hole playing a very mediocre round. Using a Titleist AP1 712 9 iron for the 162 yard shot, I hit what Gary and I thought was a good shot a little to the left of the pin. With the sun in our 64 year old eyes neither Gary nor myself saw the ball clearly after it landed. When we went to the green and couldn’t find my ball I looked in the hole and there it was!
