October 18, 2019, I was getting a twilight 9 holes in at Sykes Lady South in Overland Park, KS with my friend Trent. We had 2 others join us. On the 8th hole, with the sun beginning to set, I hit a 7 iron from 174 yards (a little thin) and we watched it roll up to the tucked back right pin. We thought it may have been long, so as we walked up and didn't see the ball, the anticipation grew into excitement. I went to check the hole, as I have done so many times before with no success. But this time was different. There it was, my Titleist Tour Soft looking up at me. My first hole in one!
