On May 26, 2019 I got my first hole in one after 42 years of golfing. It was at the Grapevine Golf Course in Grapevine, TX on the 7th hole Par 3 on the Mockingbird course. The distance was only 153 yards, but it was 1 1/2 club wind so I used a 5 iron. Hit the ball and it started straight for the flag. It hit once and rolled for @ 5 yards and looked like it rolled past the hole. Somebody in the foursome said they saw it go in, but after thinking I had made a hole in one other times it was a wait and see type of moment. Was glad to see it at the bottom of the cup and happy to join the hole in one club. They say the second hole in one is the easiest, but hopefully it won't be in another 42 years.
