First hole in one after 42 years of golf

Before my first hole in one, I saw 3 holes in ones live and in person. The first two were by a good friend in the first few years of picking up the game when I was about 14 or 15, the first, a blind shot on a 95 yard par 3. The 2nd of his holes in ones took a kick off a hose left on the right side of the green by the greenskeeper and headed straight into the hole. The 3rd hole in one I saw was about 15 years ago as I watched a following group play through a par 3 from just behind the green. I watched the guys ball hit short of the green and right (from his point of view) of the hole and take a side spin and roll straight in. I was jumping up and down more than he was at the sight of that shot. Finally, last June 11th, I was playing the 6th hole at Randolph North in Tucson. I was playing solo, but playing my white ball against my yellow ball (two rounds for the price of one!). Yellow had honors and I hit a thin 9 iron low and hot, landing in front of the green and rolling all the way to the back of the green. White was next. I teed up with my 9 iron on the 129 yard Par 3. I adjusted my swing just a little after that crummy first shot and hit a beauty, high and just right of the pin. It landed probably 5 feet short and had a little side spin to aim it straight at the hole. I was jumping up and down, but without a witness to share my excitement and without any group within about 2 holes behind me (I had been playing on the heels of a threesome all day), I took my time enjoying the moment and of course, took a picture of the beloved ball at the bottom of the cup. The ball sits in an honored spot on my desk. I've been playing golf for more than 42 years and this was my first hole in one! Hopefully I won't be in my 90s when I hit my next one.
