On Sunday, July 14th, in a tournament in Oklahoma City on the West Course at Lincoln Park on the Par-3 10th hole, I hit my first hole-in-one. I had just birdied the Par 3 9th. Then I arrived at the 10th hole. The distance was 141 yards with a slight cross wind from right to left. I took out my 8 iron, tee'd up the Titleist AVX aimed a bit right of the whole and hit a beautiful high draw that landed six inches from the hole then hopped in. It was a moment of raw uninhibited exuberance. I ran between the 1st and 10th tee boxes high-5ing everybody and being congratulated. I went on to win my flight in the tournament with another AVX. The hole-in-one ball has been assigned to permanent trophy case duty. Thank You, Titleist AVX!
