Playing at Great Outdoors in central Florida when I got my first hole-in-1! It only took me 70 years, but it was well worth the wait. Hit an 8 iron to the pin 127 yards away, over water, into a slight breeze with a Titleist DT trusoft ball (#2 which I will treasure). See attached pic for a shot from the tee box. But I missed seeing the ball go in because it appeared to have stopped just above the hole, but as I was picking up my tee everyone started yelling "it went in". By the the time I looked back it was gone from sight and in the hole. Bought everyone and drink (7 players) and enjoyed the event after the round. So here is to you and your quest for a hole in 1- remember if a 70 year old guy can do it- so can you. Just play Titleist balls and keep hitting at them!!
