For Step Dad

My step father got me started in this most challenging game of golf around 6 years ago. I got hand me down mixed golf clubs. How frustrating is this game when you are learning in the beginning. I wish I wold have started playing this game when I was in the womb. So I played, scoring in 100's. Then I remember a golfer telling me if I want be become a better golfer, I needed to practice. So I started to hit the range. I practiced and practiced for one year. My first year, I luckily had 4 eagles. Still not getting any better. I read Ben Hogan's book. Helped a little, took one lesson. Watched endless videos about the grip, stance, the swing. Still was not satisfied with shooting in the 90.s. changed my swing 7 times. Changed my clubs 5 times. Now I am playing with still mixed clubs. Trying to reach the next level. I have been working so hard to become a scratch player. I have used Titleist, png and Calloway Drivers. miz blades, 52, 54, 58 Titleist irons. Love them. I have a 60 miz that I practice with 3 to 4 hours a day around the greens. Golf has taught me in order to become really good at this game. I must practice, practice and practice. Golf has become my obsession. On July 20th, 2019. I was playing at Disney magnolia golf course. On the 6th hole. I was playing with a nice couple from Tampa. I took a picture of them on this hole. There was a mickey mouse sandtrap in front of the greens. After I took the picture, I used my 6 iron and the ball just fell in the hole. We heard a clunk sound. I did not believe it until I was in the green when I saw the ball in the hole. Then I found out that I was to bit drinks for my first hole in one. So I did. I have been playing 3 to 4 times a week now. Finally scoring in low 80.s. but still not satisfied. I need to get fitted clubs. My swing is slow and smooth. But not perfect yet. I want to drive 250 plus, need my fitted Driver. A 3 wood that will get me 220 plus. My iron game is good. My short game around the greens and putting is the best asset. I will keep working hard to become a scratch Golfer. Thank you very much for your time and appreciate this. How Golf has changed me, humbled me, what amazing game.
