I play in the White Plains Senior Fellowship league in White Plains, Maryland on Tuesdays. Sep 3rd was just like any other day. Perfect weather; blue sky, bright sunshine, no wind. I watched the ball as it sailed towards the green; it hit, bounced once & rolled towards the pin. The green is slightly elevated over the t-box, so I could only see the top of the ball. It hesitated as it hit the pin & I thought it bounced away. When my foursome approached the green we could not see it. And, since it was a middle-of-the-green placement, we thought that it had hit hard enough to actually leave the green. We didn't find the ball until we looked into the hole. Hole-In-One!!
