In memory of my father

My father has been gone for 28 years now, but on this day 30 years ago he had his first Hole in One after golfing for more than 45 years. It was at Kempsville Country Club in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He was playing in a tournament and received all the acolades. The great thing about luck is he was telling me the story as if I didn't know, while we were playing the same course as we approached his glorious tee box. I teed up and put it close, about 1 foot away. He was very happy for me as he knew I would birdie the hole he made his great shot on.
The other two gentlemen we were playing with were probally tired of hearing him go on about the shot.
My Dad then teed up and hit. "Hole in One" both men screamed as the ball rolled gently into the hole. My Dad's second hole in one! The same hole and only a week apart. The news paper articles were, and are still fun for me as a memory of my Dad. I'm still waiting for the day I can say I've had one.
