It was the 2nd day of our club championship and we had a shotgun start. I started on hole 17 so I was finishing on hole 16. It’s a hard par 3. You have to hit over a lot of crap and a creek that wanders all around the green. In front of it, behind it and on the right side. It isn’t one of my favorite holes. Plus the wind was blowing in our face. I hit my 7 iron and it was a great shot. It landed about 6 feet from the hole and started rolling towards the hole. It looked like it would stop near the hole and I thought I might get a birdie. We kept watching and the next thing we saw was the ball going in the hole. We all started screaming and jumping up and down. This was my very first hole in one!!!
