I was visiting my sister in Va Beach. I moved to Florida from VA, 9 years ago. I was golfing with my brother-in-law Robert Inks having a so-so round at Va Beach National- The weather was chilly (50 degrees) and the wind was gusting at about 15-20 mph out of the NW--so tough conditions. We got to 13, which follows a torrid Par 5. I pulled a 7-iron then decided on an 8-iron after seeing the wind was calming. I hit a good shot--felt it--and when it landed we both saw it roll out of sight--Bobby said "I think it is in the hole." I thought maybe it rolled past the hole and then down a slope. When we got to the hole we both knew--ACE!!! What a great day !! Great to be with Bobby when it happened.
