On Tuesday January 8, 2019 I showed up to play in my normal men’s club league day. For this weeks event it was a two man scramble and as my group approached the par 3 fifth hole, one of the guys in the group ahead of us hit a nice shot to about 15 feet and turned to poke fun at us and issue a challenge. Little did I know as the first person to hit in our group I would hole out my 818 19 degree hybrid with the new 2019 ProV1 #3 from 205 yds into a slight breeze but that was how it happened. It was one of those shots when you know as soon as you hit it it’s going to be good, but I never expected it to go in. The ball came down about 3 feet short of the cup and one hopped in. My group and the group behind us went nuts instantly and I just stood there in amazement. What a great way to start 2019.
