On 9/11/2019 I awoke and started watching the 9/11 tributes and arrived at the Twin Lakes golf course in Oakland, MI late. My group watched from the first green as I played the hole and caught up to them. After I apologized to the group, we proceeded to the second tee where the hole was tucked behind a bunker playing about 127 yards. After watching three good tee shots, I took a pitching wedge and hit away. I said "be the club" as I watched the ball tracking towards the pin but didn't see the results. Proceeding to the green, I could now see 3 balls surrounding the hole but not a fourth, so I turned around for a couple of wedges when I heard the shouts of jubilation "It's in the hole...you got a hole Ione". In disbelief, I looked in the hole and there it was, my Titleist Pro V #8 !!! My first hole in one and at age 63! Wow, it was well worth the wait !!!
