I was part of a very rare feat on the morning of October 1, 2019, as our threesome witnessed 2 holes-in-one during the same round! This all happened at Cobb's Glen Country Club in Anderson, South Carolina. One of our fellow players, Ken Rada, started things off by making an ace on our # 3 hole (129 yds.). It had been several years since I had witnessed a hole-in-one. It was beautiful to watch that yellow Titleist Tour Soft disappear into the hole after a wonderful shot by Ken. Eight holes later things really got magical as I laced a 6 iron on our # 11 hole (133 yards). Our other player, Craig Wilson, who was celebrating his 62nd birthday, was the first to say that my ball went in the hole. Number 11 is an uphill hole with a green that contains quite a bit of slope so I was not celebrating yet. Even when I did not see a ball on the green, I still was not convinced even though my ball mark was just a few feet from the cup. So I made that slow walk toward the hole and there lay my Titleist Pro V1 resting in the bottom of the cup! It was my fourth hole-in-one and my first since 1997. What a way to start off October, 2019!
