My wife and I left a meeting early to catch a round of golf while traveling home. We looked up a course about 1/2 and booked a tee time. It was beautiful day, about 70. Hole #2 was a slight downhill par 3, 170 yards to the pin. There was a little head wind, I hit a 6 iron to what looked like it would be a nice shot. In my mind I was playing out the birdie chance. The ball hit just short of the pin, then disappeared. My wife and I looked at each other and remarked at the same time. "I think that went in" Having been close before I didn't believe it until we drove to the green and looked in the cup. Been playing a while and currently a 3 handicap. I have hit the pin, lipped the cup, but this was my first ace. :)
