Went to Mexico for a few days of fun, and decided to get in a round of golf. Came to the 17th tee, 139 yard Par 3. There was a slight hill in the fairway, so I could only see the top half of the pin. I hit my shot a little thin and thought it might be long. My two golf partners seemed to have two good shots (couldn’t see the actual green). When we got up to the hole, there were only two balls on the green, so I figured I was over. There were two Mexican maintenance guys there who kept saying “one, one”. I didn’t understand what they meant. One of them pointed to the hole. I went to the cup, and sure enough my ball was in! Apparently I did hit it a bit long, but there was a slight hill behind the green. He showed me that my ball hit that hill and bounced backwards to the green an rolled in! My first Hole in One, and it was damn exciting! 50 years of playing golf (started at 9), and I finally have one! So cool!!!!
