We have a dogfight every Saturday at Cherokee National golf Club, Gaffney, SC. We had 10 golfers with two threesomes and a foursome. I was in the first group and arriving at the #5 par 3 which was playing 112 yards and hitting second in the group i pulled out my 9 iron and the ball hit about 10 feet in front of the hole and curled to the right. I asked my playing partners, Chuck Wilborn and Jack Bradbury ( did that go in the hole?) They were not sure so I pulled out my rangefinder and could not see the ball anywhere on the green. Arriving on the green, no ball in sight, I looked in the hole and there was my Pro V 1. Not to be undone my partner J Bradbury chipped his second shot in for a birdie. Our team was -3 on this hole and finished winning the front side with the -3 score.
