I play with a group of retirees on Friday mornings. On this Friday we played at Monarch Dunes Golf Course in Nipomo California, We had 13 players this day. I played in the first group out with 4 others. On the 14th hole, a 117 yard par 3, I was hitting last. We had one on the green before I hit last. The next group behind us had 4 players and they rolled up on the tee box just as I hit my shot with a Titlest Pro V1 and a choked down 8 iron. The ball took one short hop and went right into the cup. I turned to the other 8 watching and said “I think it went in!” All they said was “Yup, I think you are right. A few more words about what they were going to order at the bar followed. All 12 arrived for drinks and we celebrated.. I think I got off cheap with 125.00. Just a lesson to always keep room on the credit card as you never know when that great shot will happen. Even though this was my 6th hole in one, I was just as excited as my first.
