I am start out to say that I am high handicaped, weekend warrior, my best score was a 87 at Boca Dunes, but I average 95 to 98, I belong to a group that has a set tee time and plays every saturday morning on Boca Dunes CC. On any given saturday we can have anywhere from 12 to 30 players. My foursome decided to start on the back 9, which to me is more difficult than the front 9. So we are standing on the tee of # 11 hole which plays from 120 to 160, on 05.19.12 was playing 128, flag on the front portion of the green, i figure that I would choke down a 9 iron and pop the ball in the air and drop it pin high(isn't that what we all want to do it), so I set up and hit the ball, bladed... and as soon as hit I thought, oh my that ball is gonna end it all the way in the back of the green, as I lifted my head I saw it hit the front of the green bounce once and disapeared, one of my buddies yelled "it's in the hole" and I couldn't belived, we all give high five and hugs and all that stuff we guys do when something like that happened. As we were driving towards the green I saw the ball just on the front of the flag, it was placed between the edge of the hole and the flag, i was shaking so much that I even ask "what do I do now", and they said just pull the flag and be carefull, I did and the ball droped in the hole making my first very hole-in-one, I ended up shooting 98 which according to our handicap system is a wash for me. needless to say that I have 16 other guys waiting for me to shake hands, and of course a free round of beer which I happily paid for it...I will go off to say that it is a amazing experience and I wish that everyone that plays this amazing game get to experience that feeling at least once, it was amazing, and of course the group that was on the field that day made it so much more special, thank you guys....and of course I have to also thank my wife for letting me go play that saturday, thank you baby
