Pro V-One-and-Done
By Jim H On 23 September 2019
I just took this new Pro V1x out of my bag to use on the Par 3 (#13) at Settlers Hill Golf Course in Batavia, Illinois. The pin was set on the bottom of the sloped green and I could use either a "Gap" or "Pitching" wedge to either be short of the pin or hit longer shot on the slope behind the pin to let it trickle down toward the hole. Since the wind was blowing straight into my face, I chose the "Pitching" wedge knowing I wouldn't overshoot to the upper level and have and impossible putt down a 'ski slope'! The wedge shot I hit hit the slope about two thirds of the way up behind the pin, made a deep ball mark then slowly trickled down the slope taking a diagonal "bee line" to the center back of the hole for an ACE (Hole-in-One)! Since I was going straight down from golf to babysit PARKER, I decided that no one deserved to have this ball more than my brand new granddaughter and napping buddy, PARKER!
