I have recently retired and moved my family from Carlsbad, CA to Pinehurst. We joined the. Club and have access to the 9 courses here at Pinehurst. Shortly after I arrived, I became a caddy and had been working almost every day during the busy fall season. On 11/1, I got “cut” and decided to golf. Initially I was going to play Course #1 then an opening came up on Course #5. I was playing very well and on #15 I flushed a 6 iron and after a couple of hops, it dropped into the hole. The 3 some ahead heard my screen and the couple I was playing with starting celebrating with me. I immediately called my wife to share the news. After the round, i went into the Pro Shop and they immediately engraved a bag tag with my name/date/hole/yardage/course which is now proudly attached to my golf bag.
