Sunday outing
By Dan P On 27 November 2018
I coach golf at one of our local HS and had the pleasure of being around a lot of young talent. On this day, I was playing with one of my former players and future son-in-law. The temperature was low to mid 50’s with a 3-5 mph NE wind. The pin was tucked under a slope off of the left side of the green at 176 yards. Using my Titleist ProV1x no.2 ball and my Titleist CB 7iron, I approached the tee box. My swing thought was to hit a flighted cut to the left side of the green. After I hit the ball, I thought I might have caught it a groove to low but on a good line. As it hit the first third of the green, it landed, checked once and then released up the slope and down to the pin. ACE
