I was playing the tricky par 3 fourteenth hole at Missouri Bluff's golf club. The hole is 130 yards all carry across no man's land a raven about 110 yards. The green hangs off the side of a hill with a slope from left to right. Par is a great score on this hole. On this attempt, I told myself 130 is a perfect 9 iron just hit it to the left of the hole. I took the shot and saw the ball disappear, I playing partner saw it as well. He said, I just saw my first hole in one. I could not believe it. I have hit balls that were a quarter of an inch from going in the pass and said it is probably hanging on the lip behind the flag stick. It was in the hole!!!
