Holritz, Bunlong, John, and I decided to play a quick round at Jurupa Hills Golf Course, Ca. on Veteran's Day 11/11/19. We had a twosome riding us closely for 14 holes and it just made for a stressfull game until we got to the 15 tee box. The 15th hole was playing 162 yards from the blue tees, so I grabbed my 6 iron to play a light swing. Once I placed my Titleiest AVX on a wooden tee and my body was in position to strike the ball, I swung the club back and followed through with a gentle swing. As I watched my ball in flight, I was thinking I pushed it right, but all of a sudden it started to draw in slightly. My ball landed right of the green and started rolling left towards the center flag placement. As I was thinking my ball is headed into the hole, there is now way it will fall in, I could hear Holritz stating, "Did your ball just disappear? I think it went into the hole!" I replied, " I think I just hit my first hole in one, No Way!" As one can imagine, my Fluorescent green ball was snuggled in the 15th cup waiting for me to claim it. I was in heaven for about 5 minutes and then reality settled back in, hole 16, I hit a triple bogey...and yes, the twosome was still riding our tails. It was an epic day, Thank you to all the Veteran's that served/serving our beautiful United States of America!!!
