After playing inconsistently for 15 years, I had finally gotten back into playing with more consistency. I went out the weekend before my wedding to play with a close friend. On hole #17, a 170-yard par 3, the sun was starting to come down, and laid a glare out across the green. I stroked a clean 7i, and felt like it was well on line. I initially thought I hit it over because of the glare from the sun, but couldn't find my ball when we got up around the green. Finally checked the hole and there it was! It landed about 6 inches past the hole and took a bounce back in.
