i am 67 and fancy myself as a decent caddy; this true story from the last round of this year's ny state open; 52nd hole bethpage BLACK 7/22/10; my player goes way right off the tee and we spend 4 1/2 minutes lookin' for the ball; we find it; he hacks it out and onto the green with a 35'er; marks and tosses me the ball to clean; instead of tossin' it back to him i handed it back; as i did i pointed to the word Titleist on the ball (pro v1#3)and said to him "see these i's in Titleist? well this ball has 4 i's and they are all lookin' only for the bottom of the hole! knock it in"! he did! the boys holding the scorecard came running over to me saying "he's tied for first, he's tied for first"!!! well this old coot caddy was thrilled; this kid's gonna win !!! (he got a bad break and bogied the 54th to fall out of the tie and into 3rd place.)

but those who play Titleist always have i's lookin' only for the bottom of the cup !!!
