The Test of Time

As a young five year old in Chicago, Illinois in 1950, my older brother and I made our allowance by hunting golf balls outside of the local courses in the area and selling them back to golfers. Any Titleist found among the Dunlops, Spaldings, Wilsons and Uniroyals always carried a "premium" when offered for sale by me to interested golfers. I have a profound memory of my older brother, Rob, chastising me at one point for letting a used Titleist go for $.25, a huge amount of money for a kid then.

Since that time, and through the last 60 years of playing golf, now as a retired teacher, I still hold Titleist balls in the highest regard and use them to uplift my score and my enjoyment of the game. Titleist IS the ball of choice today among my regular foursome, whatever the course or conditions.
