  1. Quick question for my fellow TT members that have the 4UP Stadry stand bag. Are any of y'all having issues with the stand mechanism? The legs on my bag are not completely retracting when I pick it up to carry it. In fact they only retract about half way. I am a little bit concerned as I got the bag for Xmas and have only played a few rounds with it and this has already become an issue. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Stephen,

I would take it back to an authorized Titleist shop. they should be able to address it. If you tried to use WD-40 or some kind of silicone it might not work amd cause warranty problems.

No problems with my StaDry. As you probably already do, make sure towels or other items are not in the way.

    Hi Stephen
Yeah I have the same problem with my 4up stay dry bag.
For the price I paid for it I'm really disappointed . It definitely does keep things dry (I should know as I'm from Troon Scotland) but the legs on the stand only go half way out.

Also, the way Titleist stand bags are designed they can't sit on a power trolley properly die to the way the leg hinges are placed.

Yes I understand it's a stand bag but occasionally I don't want to carry and want to use my powakaddy in 36 tournaments.

For reference the png hoofer sits perfectly on a powakaddy.

I have the 4up bag too. You can adjust the way the legs come out and retract with the wire mechanism that pushes the legs out when you put the bag down. Move that plastic spacer between the wires supports up and down by loosening it up and I think you'll find you can adjust the tension and the way the legs retract and stay closer to the bag. It worked for me. Great Bag
  6. Tom,

Thanks for the tip. I will give that a try and if it still isn't performing well, I will take it back to the golf shop I bought it from. Sorry for the delayed response.
