Hi, I have 2 queries about the 915 driver. 1) I've been looking to buy a 915 D2 driver (head only) but I've been told it's not possible to do so. Is this the case? Even from Titleist themselves? I've even tried shops to see if they'll sell me one of their demo heads but no luck. 2) I'm watching one on eBay. I've asked for a serial number but the guy got back to me and said that it's off the tour truck so there is no serial number. Does this sound legit? Advice please? Thanks

    Hi Ryan,

Thanks for the post. To confirm, we do not sell the heads only for any of our clubs. In terms of the auction you are watching, the only way to ensure you are purchasing authentic Titleist equipment is to buy from an authorized retailer. And typically, if a deal sounds too good to be true, it most likely is.

In the meantime, you can also check out our brand protection page that has more information on how to spot fakes and what steps you can take if you believe you have purchased counterfeit products. Here is the URL: http://www.titleist.com/customer-service/counterfeit-product-notice.aspx

Thanks again and have a great day.

    All the best,

    Mike

Thanks for the reply. Mike, would it be against forum rules to open a thread asking if anyone has one they'd be willing to sell me?

    Thanks

Sorry Ryan, but Titleist doesn't sell heads only, or no one else that I've ever heard of. As far as question #2 goes, if it doesn't have a serial #, it isn't a Titleist. My best advise to you is buy a 915 driver from an authorized Titleist dealer, and you'll know you have the real thing. Remember, you get what you pay for.

Tour heads still have a serial number so something is fishy

If your looking to keep your existing shaft, then just buy a stock driver from your local dealer and then take your shaft and put it on your old head and sell it.   That is what  I'm going to do.

Or see about what you can get for trade in.

As much as you like your old shaft, have your tried the new shafts they offer? Mike has made a valid suggestion. You probably will get more selling it than trading it in. You can go online and see what you trade in value is.
  9. I currently have a 913 D2 driver and 5 wood along with 910 Hybrid 3 & 4 all with the Bassara Titleist shafts, if I purchase the new 915 models can I put my old shafts in the new clubs? Spent a full summer dialing in the shafts and very pleased with current setup. If I cannot use my old shafts then does Titleist offer the Bassara shafts?
