  1. No one wants to have something happen to their clubs. But unfortunately it does happen. For me, my T-MB 2 iron got a crack on the face.

After doing some research, I called and checked with the warranty and repair department to check on procedures. They gave me the full run down of the procedure (take it to a retail shop) and the timeline of the repair (2 day shipping, 3 day repair, 2 day shipping back).

I took it to my local retail shop (Golfsmith) and waited for the club to comeback. When 2 weeks passed, I just wanted to know what was going on. Called the retail shop and said that it was shipped a couple of days earlier, but the expected time of return was 2-3 weeks. When I heard that I called the warranty and repair department again.

I spoke with Ken. And he helped me through the whole process. He called the retail shop to get more information (club was already there). Then gave me more information on what to expect. Since there was a holiday in between, Ken recommended to call back on Tuesday to get a better timeline. I call back on Tuesday, the person I spoke told me that the club was just received that morning. I asked the person to connect me with Ken again, he called back within a hour from leaving him a message. He said the retail store probably gave him the wrong tracking number. So what he did was, he went back and found my club, put it in front of the line to be repaired, and told me that it'll ship either by the end of that day or the next day.

Sure enough, the club was at the retail shop in a couple of days.

I personally want to thank Ken for going above and beyond to get my club fixed/replaced and sent back. I've had experiences with other golf company, but this is the best customer service experience that I've had.

  4. I had the same thing happen to me a few months ago. I had purchased the 816 h2, and fell in love with it. I was hitting it off the tee for a while, on the range, and anywhere I had the chance. I was out on the range after a round one night, and noticed it I had cracked the face. I took it back to the local store where I bought it from, and they said Titleist was pretty quick with the warranty stuff. They had another one in the same loft, and just told me to take that one, and they would just replace it when my warranty one came back to them.
