  1. Is there a way i can order a new set of CB's with the swing weight at D4? I have checked a few sites and i dont see the option to do it. I can order them through my club but i was just wondering if i could order them right from titleist myself. Thanks

You can't order directly from Titleist, you'll need to order from an authorized Titleist retailer or pro shop. You can specify a D4 swing weight on your order and depending on the shaft and grips you want Titleist will build them as close as they can to that swing weight.

Hi Andy, The swingweight will be dependent on shaft, flex, length, grip and grip size. If you can let us know those specs, we can let you know what swingweight is achievable.

Andy, Titleist does not sell direct. They do however have numerous golf courses and golf retailers that are authorized to sell to the public. My suggestion would be to pick one that has a fitting process so you can not only get the swing weight you are looking for, but to get the data analysis to optimize your swing.
  5. Thanks for the reply's. I had a fitting 2 days ago, I've been playing the 712 ap2's with project x 6.5's for a few years now. I built them in my garage not knowing anything. well the swing weight was way off. i went to the fitting and he put me in a d4 swing weight and gained 10 yards right off the bat lol

You can't order direct from Titleist, so seek out your favorite local PGA Professional and I'm sure the he/she would be happy to help.

As has been stated it will depend on the shaft and grip that you are fitted for. I can tell you that I have been able to get my last 5 sets of CB/MBs made to D4. I was using Dynamic Gold shafts but just changed to NS Tour 105s.
  7. I was fitted for Oban ct 115x- shafts (which i can't afford). My next best option which was very similar numbers was the project X LZ 6.5 with mcc+4 grips 3 wraps of tape CB heads.

Hi Andy, The Oban ct shafts are quite a bit different than a PX 6.5 in both ball flight as well as tip stiffness in our testing. They also build lighter than PX.

The heaviest we could build a PX 6.5 with those specs would be D2.

so its not possible for me to get the PX LZ 6.5 in a D4?

Hi Andy, With that grip and the three extra wraps, we may be able to get to D3. Please make sure you have a swingweight specified or the target for that build will be D1.
