I was lucky enough to be picked for a complimentary fitting for the new 718's at St. Ives national fitting centre and it was absolutely fantastic. I spent a little over an hour with Daniel, my fitter for the session and he was brilliant. Very helpful, knowledgeable and encouraging throughout the process. The facility itself is awesome, immaculately presented and full of all the toys a titleist nut could wish for. If you're considering booking a fitting, you really won't be disappointed. Do it, do it now !! Lol.

Can't wait to go back in a couple of months and get fitted for the 818's, and maybe a cheeky wedge fitting to .

Big thank you to Hannah, who arranged my session and Daniel, who took my fitting. Off to the pro shop tomorrow to place my order for the AP2's. Just a shame I'll have to wait a while before I get to use them in anger. Cheers. Lee.

What a treat, Lee. Waiting for new clubs to arrive can be torturous!
Did you go in to the fitting with any expectation on which clubs or setup may be best for you?
Best of luck with the new setup.

Having played 690 cb's for the last 13 years I love the feel of forged irons, so the AP2 was my first choice. I did however hit the AP3 as well and it was very nice, but the offset didn't look quite right to me. Gained nearly ten yards on average with the AP2 and have ordered mine with the project X 5.5 shafts with GP MC+4 blue grips. Can't wait to start getting some rounds in with them.
